2006 Midwest Express a Success:

Dear Midwest Express riders and volunteers,
Thank you for all your help in making Rails-to-Trails Conservancy's inaugural Midwest Express Bike Tour a success. The Express benefited not only the riders, trails groups and local communities' economy but the larger rail-trail community as well. There are now 150 more people who see the true potential of rail-trails.
All our 150 riders finished their journey without any medical issues, and while there are areas that we wish to improve, overall the response to the tour was overwhelmingly positive. I would like to share some of the thoughts that I have received:

"Water stops were fantastic - a lot of effort went into these, you could tell!"

"Just wanted you to know that I really enjoyed the ride and appreciate all the work you and the volunteers put into it."

"Thank you for a great 3 days of biking. The routes were nice and the markings were terrific and you could not beat the weather!"

"Thanks for a great event! This was a huge accomplishment for us. We just lost my wife, a few weeks ago. So a father/son team-building event was super for us. After doing the Midwest Express I feel like we can do anything together."

Thanks again and we hope to see everyone again next year,
