RTC’s Trail Assistance Mini-Grant Program provides funding support to organizations and municipalities who need to make small repairs and improvements to trails, which are outside of the regular Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources grant schedule, and which are well below the higher dollar amounts usually requested on major trail development grants.
Since its launch in 2007, the program has helped dozens of communities in Pennsylvania enhance their trails, resulting in improved safety, increased access and more connected routes for residents and visitors.
Applications are accepted in February of each year. For more information on the mini-grant program, contact our Northeast Regional Office.
More information on the next grant cycle will be posted as it becomes available.
