RTC Midwest Regional Office Brings Members, Supporters Together:
More than 40 Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC) members and supporters recently attended a cocktail reception hosted by Chuck Waterman III at the law firm of Bricker and Eckler in downtown Columbus, OH to celebrate RTC's successes and learn about what is on the horizon for rail-trail enthusiasts. The gathering also provided an opportunity for RTC to learn more about the interests and hopes of its members and supporters.
"The evening was a welcome opportunity to gather with rail-trail enthusiasts, connect with old friends and meet new, and learn more about RTC's efforts to help grow our shared network of trails," says event host Charles Waterman III, a partner at Bricker & Eckler LLP. RTC members enjoyed a brief program featuring a video on rail-trail history followed by RTC President Keith Laughlin, Midwest Regional Director Rhonda Border-Boose and Jack Shaner Ohio Environmental Council's Public Affairs Director.
