Trail User User Survey Workbook Available:

A practical guide on how to produce a trail user survey, including templates and spreadsheets, has been completed for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (PA DCNR) by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy's Northeast Regional Office and a local consultant.

The "Trail User Survey Workbook" was created at the request of PA DCNR. The workbook will provide a user-friendly methodology for small trail organizations in Pennsylvania to complete their own user surveys, rather than pay large fees to private consultants. By providing this helpful tool for trail user data collection, PA DCNR hopes to gather enough data from trail managers to produce their own set of trail user statistics.
