We’ve teamed up with an amazing group of partners to plan Celebrate Trails Day events around the country. We’re spotlighting a handful of the events that are delivering joy and big impact by celebrating and bringing attention to trail connectivity.

Check out events happening around the Great American Rail-Trail. The nation’s first cross-country multiuse trail, the route will be entirely bikeable and walkable across 3,700+ miles between Washington, D.C., and Washington State. This year is extra special because it’s the 5th anniversary of the Great American Rail-Trail!

Check out events happening around the Capital Trails Network! The Capital Trails Coalition footprint currently includes more than 800 miles of existing and planned trails and connections in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia.

Check out events happening around the Circuit Trails network! The Circuit Trails is a regional urban trail network in Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey. The project will eventually encompass 800 miles of trails on both sides of the Delaware River.

When you attend a Celebrate Trails Day event hosted by Rails to Trails Conservancy, you waive any and all claims and causes of action against Rails to Trails Conservancy, affiliated partner organizations, event producers and presenters, and their insurers, for liability, including for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death in connection with your attendance of the event. Most Celebrate Trails Day Events are not hosted by Rails to Trails Conservancy, but if and when you participate in one that is, you assume all risks.
