Learn about the creation—and recreation—of the nearly mile-long Blue Ridge Railroad Tunnel near Charlottesville, Virginia, which was originally built in the 1850s. Closed in 1944, the tunnel reopened in 2020 as a historical site and rail-trail tourist attraction.
