Conducted by Benton County Public Works Engineering, this study discusses the feasibility of building a trail from Albany, OR, to Corvallis, OR. In this study the trail is broken down into eleven independently analyzed segments. Soil type analysis, presence of wetlands, and flooding risk are well accounted for. Other important considerations include existing pathways, stream crossings, ownership of property, traffic, topography, rights-of-way, local attractions, community development, cost estimates, safety and intersections.
