TA Program Structure, Policies, and Procedures
- Application timeline: The next call for projects is anticipated in 2027. Please see website for more information.
- TA program structure: TAP funds are made available to the State through the Federal Highway Administration and administered by the Nevada State Department of Transportation.
- Who is eligible to apply: Tribal Governments, schools, governmental agencies/entities.
- Application components: Project name, sponsor, cost estimates, and information pertinent to the selection criteria. Applicants are encouraged to attach additional project information including site maps, letters of support, assessment of environmental concerns, cost estimates, etc.
- Selection criteria: Enhance safety, benefits to transportation, project preparedness, community support, measurable benefit, community plans
- Is there an advisory committee?: Yes.
- Advisory committee members: Members from the NDOT as well as members from outsides entities and groups
- Project award minimum: N/A
- Project award maximum: Infrastructure projects- $650,000 per application. Non-infrastructure projects – $125,000 per application
- Match requirement: 5%
