Art Segal started writing in 1994 with his About Men essay “Don’t Call Me Lucy!” in The New York Times Magazine. He has written for Time Out New York, Seattle Weekly, The Seattle Globalist, School Transportation News and Next Avenue (PBS), where his essay “Losing Four Friends and Relatives in the Pandemic” was among 12 finalists in the Telling Our Stories series.
