Kelly Pack

Kelly Pack is RTC’s TrailNation accelerator program director, bringing over 20 years of experience in trail planning, community development and active transportation. Her love of trails, walking and biking began in childhood in West Virginia and deepened while living in Washington, D.C., where she became interested in how people use trails to move through communities and experience daily life. Pack was a lead author for RTC’s 2013 America’s Rails-with-Trails report.

Kelly holds an M.S. in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Resources from West Virginia University and previously served as a community planner with the National Park Service’s Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance Program.

She lives with her family in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she enjoys biking on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, long walks in neighborhood parks and quiet time at her local library.
