Pierre Lallement Bike Path | Back Bay
This 4-mile trail, popular among commuters, connects Back Bay to Jamaica Plain, paralleling the Orange Line.
Mary Ellen Welch Greenway | East Boston
This nearly 3-mile trail, formerly known as the East Boston Greenway, offers access to nature and views of the Boston skyline.
Border to Boston Trail | Charlestown
Currently, more than 44 miles exist of this 70-mile developing trail network that will one day connect 20 communities from Boston’s coastline to the northern border with New Hampshire.
Somerville Community Path | Somerville
This 3.2-mile paved rail-trail connects into the 59-mile Mass Central Rail Trail, following the former above-ground railway corridor atop the city’s subway tunnels.
