Celebrate Trails Day 2024 was celebrated in all 50 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Our partners planned more than 240 celebrations.

The Chuck Huckelberry Loop offers 155 miles of paved pathways and bike lanes, six distinct sections and four communities near Tucson.

From the vast chasm of the Grand Canyon to the cactus/tumbleweed landscape of the Sonoran Desert, Arizona’s trails are big.

Starting in the centuries-old birthplace of Tucson in the south, the Santa Cruz River Park Trail follows the sandy and mostly dry riverbed.

I lost that connection during the pandemic, and I have realized that rediscovering the trails around me—my #TrailMoments—makes me feel whole and like the world will be ok.
