Webinar – Midterm Election Results: What’s Next for Trails, Biking, and Walking

Join this Rails to Trails Conservancy webinar as we dive into midterm election results and their impact on trails, walking and biking infrastructure. We will explore the implications for the next Congress – which is actively debating the next federal surface transportation law – and for dozens of state legislatures and governors’ races, as well as for consequential active transportation related ballot measures from across the country. We will conclude with advocacy actions that you can take as we continue to advocate in support of active transportation funding and connectivity.

On November 18, RTC will also be hosting our annual pre-state-legislative session which will be a deep dive into state policy wins and ways to influence active transportation priorities on the state level. We encourage you to register for this session below!

Online Dialogue – Beyond ADA: Accessibility, Dignity and Choice on Multi-Use Trails

Join this TrailNation Collaborative dialogue, powered by Rails to Trails Conservancy, for an engaging session exploring how trail managers, advocates and partners can move beyond minimum accessibility guidelines to create trail experiences that support dignity and choice for people with disabilities. Webinar – State Legislative Landscape: Building Your 2027 Agenda for Walking, Biking and Trails

During this annual pre-legislative session webinar, RTC policy staff and featured guests will discuss best practices for building a successful state legislative agenda focused on achieving policy wins and funding for active transportation. The session will touch on legislative basics and timelines before diving into how to address funding challenges with creative approaches and creating and defending funding sources for walking, biking and trails.

State Legislative Salon

RTC’s state legislative salons are an opportunity to compare notes and best practices with like-minded organizations from other states and workshop policy and advocacy ideas for this year’s state legislative sessions.
